Kate Snig in my Living room (series)
Added 2017-02-23 08:43:25 +0000 UTCOh, I'm just such a bad host. When a model arrives for a session I just think about the images, the light, the camera settings and I look at her to find out, in what angles I should photograph her. And often I simply forget about the basics of hospitality.
Thankfully my girlfriend was at home when Kate arrived after a long flight. She reminded me that I could at least offer a cup of coffee before we start with the session, and so I did. What I forgot was that it was a cold January day and that Kate was naked while I was comfortably dressed.
Kate didn't say anything during the session about the coldness. She is really a very professional model and it seems, she accepts the conditions she finds without complaining and so I was very happily working with her. She did also not complain after we finished the session, but it was only then that I realized about the low temperature in my flat...
It was a cloudy day but still very bright and the soft light that came in from both sides was ideal, so that I did not have to use any additional light source. The huge window front of my living room made for the main light, while the smaller window in the kitchen on the opposite side helped to brighten the contrasts.
