Yana in her very first photo session (series)

When I first saw Yana sitting in the café down here on the place, shy  and girlish, I was already lost. I wanted her as a model, but to be  honest: I dreamed of a lot more, from the very first moment.

As  you might know, my dreams came more than true and some wild and very  loving years followed that moment. But then, when I had this date for a  first session a few weeks later, I did not really believe that she would  really appear.

I was too overwhelmed by her almost innocent way  of sexiness, her black eyes, her winning smile and her smoky voice. I  am quite used to see beautiful girls, but there was something special in  her, or between her and me, and this made me really nervous...

So  when she rang the door bell precisely at the time we agreed, I wasn't  prepared completely. My studio flashes were ready, yes, but I hadn't  thought about a scenery for the session.

Because I was cleaning  my flat just before, the vacuum cleaner was still there and so I thought,  why not taking a series of a young naked beauty cleaning my flat?

I  know, a naked cleaning lady is an imagination of many and so I made this  to the topic of the very first photo session I ever had with her. Today  I think, cleaning an already clean flat is a bit like those  advertisements for ladyshavers where a woman shaves her already shaved  leg...

Although the session was fun and I liked the results, and  Yana signed the model release, she later did not want me to publish the  photos. She thought, naked and cleaning was to much objectifying her as a  woman, and as she already was my girlfriend by that time, I followed  her wish.

Today, years later, I think that these images are kind  of a document. It is the first time ever that Yana was photographed in  the nude, or professionally at all. She was not a model then as she is  today, she was completely inexperienced (in this matter) and it was the  beginning of a time that changed her and my life.
