It was late at night when I took the last photos of Katlyn in that small and narrow hotel room in Paris - the black and white ones I already posted. But we were not really tired and so I went out to buy something to drink in one of these shops that are open at any time. I was thinking about a coke or something like that, but Katlyn thought about something alcoholic and so I came back with coke and a bottle of whisky. We were awake until we fell asleep :-)
Nevertheless we got up quite early in the morning, maybe at 9, because breakfast was only served until 10 and because I had to leave the room at 11.
The rain had stopped - one of those rare moments when it doesn't rain in Paris... - and so, before dressing, I used the opportunity to take some photos of Katlyn on the small balcony of the room.
It is a quite busy street and last night we had to stop taking photos out there because of a group of men who wouldn't move on and shouted loud, looking at us. Well, the looked at Katlyn, to be precise.
Just when we wanted to start, a police group parked their car and looked around, probably not to find somebody naked, but to remind the people that there is terrorist alarm all the time, that one has to be afraid, and that they are doing their best to keep the people frightened. While, of course, they cannot do anything against terrorism but only show up with their machine guns and look around furiously after an attack has occurred. Maybe they even don't want to do something against terrorism. It is so very useful to keep the people quiet and afraid and thus even make them voting for such terrible things like this orange-yellow loudmouth in the US...
But then the anti-nude, err, anti-terror group went away and we found some moments to take these fun images on the balcony.
It was a nice little session and Katlyn, recently out of the bed, was as tired as I but I think this unusual moment to take photos gives them a special touch. I love some of those images. Maybe one day I will edit some of them in black-and-white.
Then we finally took breakfast and drove to Chartres where I took some more photos of her - you have seen one of them yesterday and the full series will show up here soon.
