Sometimes healthy life finds it's ways

Hope is what dies last, they say. And there is some hope right now.

The leader of the rebels wanted to announce the new independent country last Tuesday evening. But as they have not found nobody in the rest of the world who supports them, he made a confusing announcement: independence yes but no but yes but no. He somehow declared it and then suspended it, to "open a window for dialog".

They are always talking about dialog, but the only dialog they offer is on how to accept what they want. It's just another propaganda lie. They hoped, Spain would react cruel and violent, so they could tell the world: you see, we offered dialog but Spain did not enter and only answered with violence.

But it came different. The biggest disaster for them that they could never had imagined happened: the Spain government offered dialog. Thanks to the opposition in Spanish parliament, the government is now willing to enter into a serious debate about the constitution of Spain and changing it so that the autonomous regions get even more liberties. This actually means, that the rebels now have absolutely no more arguments. If they fight against the state, they fight against the fulfillment of what they said were their wishes.

Spanish government gave the rebels 5 days to come back to the basis of democratic law and constitution and then take part in the democratic process of a modernization of the constitution. If not, the Catalan regional government - the rebels - will be suspended, Catalonia will be governed by the central government for a while until a new local government is voted in official elections.

I fear, that now that Spain offers the dialog they cried for, they will renounce it, to further destabilize the country. It is clear that hey have lost their fight, no doubt, but it is not clear, how much damage they can bring over the country and Europe.

So, we live in something like the "quietness before the storm", and again do not know what will happen.

But, just like the little green plants that are braking thru a firmly closed door and growing on naked stone, maybe - maybe - the crisis can find an end, soon...
