skinny beauty (series)

Apart of her very skinny but still feminine body her beautiful, expressive face and her extraordinarily beautiful slim hands with the perfectly formed fingers and the long manicured nails attracted my attention.
Although it's a bit risky due to the distortion I decided to use an extreme wide angle lens (21mm with full frame chip) on the full body images and a softer wide angle (35mm) on the portraits. I like the wide angle effect and especially in the last images of this small series you see that I loved to emphasize her skinniness with the pose and the angle from which I took the images.
In most of the photos I wanted her hands to play an important role in the image. I used only natural light coming from behind me through the kitchen window (and had to be careful not to throw my own shadow on her as the window was directly in by back...) and the general light coming in from the large front window and reflected by the white walls and ceiling. Still, the direct light from the kitchen window allowed quite strong contrasts, but without losing the softness of her form and her beautiful face with its expressive eyes...
