pale beauty on a white chair (series)
Added 2018-02-08 17:02:07 +0000 UTCHooo, it's cold in Barcelona and today we even had a little bit of snow, something that happens only every maybe 5 years.
But something else happened that I wished it would never have happened: the graphics card of my computer said goodbye to me. Not because of cold, but because of heat. No joke.
The wonderful Barcelona air filled up the cooler of the card with sticky dust and the card got hotter and hotter. Then my screen began to show artefacts, or it went black, worked again after a reboot of the computer for a while, then showed wrong colours, freezed the whole computer... and in the end nothing worked anymore.
As you can see in the missing posts here, it took me quite a while to find out the reason of the failure. Is it the processor? The memory? The disk controller? The motherboard? Well, it was the graphics card.
I have a new one now. Here I show you the first images I edited using it. As it is winter the young woman is quite pale, bur she looks nice, doesn't she?
And while you are looking at her let me tell you that just yesterday - the sun was shining, 8° Celsius - there was a beautiful young girl on my terrace, all naked.
It's true. And very soon you'll see her here!
