Even in bad moments of life there is always some colour that brings light into the dark!
Finally - after teen days! - I got my car back, together with a huge bill, and so Moni and I could drive to the beach. Well, drive... you know, the really nice beaches aren't reachable easily by car or they would be crowded like all the other beaches here at Costa del Sol. And so, after the session, we had to climb up again like 50 or 100 meters (it seemed 1000 to me!) of height difference by a steep path in - also a 7 p.m. - still hot and bright sun without shade.
One of those moments that I clearly felt my age. Or my being a smoker... While Moni happily jumped up the way, I had to sit down on some stone twice to regain breath before we reached the car...
But the other news is maybe even more interesting for you: this images (if you download the original size) is 4480x6720pixels large. It is the size that my new camera body produces. It's a Canon %D Mk IV.
I received it last week from Switzerland. An interesting side note: this body costs in Spain almost 1000 Euros more than in Switzerland! Strange, because the earnings, the prices in general, the living standard is much lower in Spain than in Switzerland. But cameras, electronics and computers are so much cheaper In Switzerland than one could even fly to there and take a short break and still save a bit.
But in my case my daughter went to buy the camera and then sent it per DHL.
And here it is. I read the manual, but of course everything is a little bit different and I have to get used to the handling and the different focusing and metering methods. The image you see here is from the first time ever I used this new camera. So, it already isn't a virgin anymore :-)
You'll see much more soon...
