Finally!

You might know that I went away from Barcelona a year ago (and after the results of the town hall elections of yesterday in BCN I am even more happy that I took this decision).

I thought it was easy to find a new place, but it wasn't at all. All that year I lived in a small 1-room-apartment in a neighborhood which is not exactly one of Málaga's best... and also it didn't precisely add to an impressive impressions when I invited a new model for a test shoot on the cheap ikea sofa at the side of my personal bed and with the bad smell coming from the small kitchens air exhaust...

But finally I found what I was looking for: a penthouse right in the very heart of the beautiful old town of Málaga. It is the leftmost house on this photo and if you're in Málaga you'd probably see me quite often coming in and out of the large portal - to have a cup of coffee, and especially, of course, to hopefully find new, beautiful amateur models.

All my personal things, my furniture, but also my computer with it's calibrated screen, have been sleeping in a furniture store in Valencia for all that time. I learned that I have a lot of things that I don't miss (and probably will get rid of them now). But there are also things I really miss - besides of my own bed, my sofa that has seen so many beautiful models, my large round table that is so very comfortable to sit with friends for dinner (but also stable enough for other pleasures) etc., especially my studio flash equipment.

I love to use available light, but especially on indoor shootings I often had to use very high ISO settings with the correspondent loss in quality. My new huge living room will soon serve as my new indoor studio and I hope that my search for new amateur models will be successful, so that you soon can see what happens under the bright light of my flashes :-)

Also soon I will have a professional large format printer, so that I finally can offer original prints in large sizes: made and controlled by my self. So lot of work in front of me, but also lot of confidence in the next future.
