Are we talking about art? Or sensuality? Or sex?

That most  people love sex is basically the guilt of evolution. For a long time,  sex drive should be exclusively for nature - the creation of babies -  not for pleasure. The joys and excitements associated with making  children were, so to speak, the reward for the commitment to the  continued existence of humanity. In reality, it’s just this: whoever  enjoyed sex, had sex, and who didn’t enjoy it, didn’t reproduce - and  became extinct.

Genetically speaking, there are almost only  descendants of people who value sex, so evolution has made us liking sex  and having sex and wanting more sex in as many varieties as possible,  which are no longer just about being efficient to bring the semen to the  ovum. We have discovered sensuality, the subtle (and sometimes not so  subtle) play, the tenderness, the desire to give pleasure to the other,  the devotion with all the senses - hence the name sensuality: see,  smell, taste, touch, feel.

Art wants to transcend sensuality even  further and bring it to a “higher level”, which represents the beauty of  our bodies and erotic sensations in a way that touches our soul much  more than the private parts.

But the basis is and remains the joy  of sex. I have zero faith in the statements of those photographers who  photograph beautiful women and claim that their art has nothing to do  with sex. This is nothing but a cowardly apology, just as it is an  excuse that the most obscene gestures are allowed in social networks, if  only “certain parts” are not visible.

I try to create art with my  photography. Sensual, erotic art. I believe in the magical power and  beauty of human sexuality and would like to elevate it to art in many of  my images. Often I succeed, often not. In my Patreon gallery,  I openly show all my work. Sensitive, implied sensuality and direct  sexuality. If you want you can for your own opinion - the art is in the  eye of the beholder.
