I guess you know from my many series here that I like to have my models show everything during my sessions, but I don't like those typical -so-called "hot" expressions of fake excitement that are characteristic for porn. (I like it though to portray real excitement, when it occurs naturally - but no "theater").
Although many consider my photography on the border, if not as, porn because of the often visible intimate parts, I myself, of course, see it differently.
Apart of not showing any fake feelings, never using lubricants to pretend wetness when there isn't, and all that things that mark porn, to my believe the real difference lays in the fact, that my models are always subjects and never objects.
When the viewer looks at porn, the person in the image is simply available to everybody. The viewer can think: this girl is ready to be taken by me, I can have her, she's hot and open to be /used/ by me.
In my most erotic and "hot" images - at least this is my goal - the viewer might think: wow, this must be a very hot woman and for sure it must be wonderful to come very close to her - but will she allow me to?
"My" women decide themselves. They are never subordinated to the viewer. They know about their charms and their effect and they like it, but they are never "available" to each and everyone.
For this series I asked Tori: show me all of your erotic beauty while you are completely aware of what you show me, and imagine you'd check your effect, cool and knowing...
I put a light that caresses her without emphasizing too much the typical "points of interest" - although in some some images they are clearly visible, too.
