From America with love

Sofia looks very Latina (and from her roots she  is), but when you hear her talking she's US-American as UIS-American can  be. It's a long time that I heard this - for my ears - nice and fun  accent and way of talking. It's not everyday that a US-American nude  model strays for Spain and I am happy that she did - and I am very happy  that she found me!

Well, I am sorry I can't give you sound with  my images, on the other hand I am quite sure that there is much more  that will interest you in Sofia. She's a very happy young woman,  traveling around as a model and truly enjoying showing her beautiful  face and body.

It may be an advantage or a disadvantage when a  model reaches a certain level of professionalism. The advantages are  obvious: she knows what photographers want to see, she knows how  beautiful her feminine body is and she knows how to emphasize her  charms.

In my eyes, those advantages are at the same the  disadvantages: after many sessions poses lose their "natural innocence"  that I love so much in inexperienced models, face expressions are more  set up than just occurring. It is true that Sofia has some very hot and  arousing face expressions, but then again in my eyes she's most  beautiful when she is just as she is without thinking about "modeling".

Sofia  contacted me a while ago via the "model mayhem" website where I have an  abandoned profile (it's abandoned because of the censorship that  doesn't allow me to show what I want to show in my profile). She was  coming to Málaga at that time, but unfortunately, as I could see in her  profile and she confirmed, she was completely shaven and so I didn't  accept her application. But a few days ago she sent me a whatsapp  message with a detail photo of her bush that has grown meanwhile and the  proposal to meet for a session last Thursday.

Usually I like to  meet a model first in person before I decide if I want to photograph  her or not. I also like to take some simple test photos, usually some  clicks with my mobile phone (that will never be published because I  don't own the rights, but also because they are really just clicks to  see the details of the face and body and how a model moves and shows  herself). Also this personal meeting allows me to inform the model in  detail about the kind of photos I want to shoot, show her samples and  find out, if she is prepared to show herself that openly and unashamed  as I want it.

But that was not possible in this case because she  was here for only a very short time, working with other photographers  about an hour of distance outside of Málaga. So we had some conversation  on whatsapp where I send her samples and she sent me others. Finally we  agreed to the session.

Thursday morning I had to get up early  and we had only a few hours to get to know us in person. Actually we  started the session half an hour after we met for the first time.  Personally Sofia is a very lovely and fun person, very nice to chat with  her and as during the session I was talking all the time, trying to get  her as natural and un-posed as possible, I think in about half of the  images I achieved to capture her natural, happy beauty and sensuality. I  guess, you'll see the always alternating differences between posed and  natural in the 90 images of this series...

Now Sofia is on her  way back to the United States, but I hope she'll be back to Europe quite  soon - keeping growing her bush :-) - for more sessions. Still, there  are many more photos in another settings from this session that you will  see in other series in another moment...
