It is true, I truly love cats!

So yes, I do love cats. Those with 4 legs and even more the wild and untamable ones on 2 legs (that sometimes also say «miau» in special moments), and, of course, THE cat, nowadays unfortunately often hairless although a dense and cozy fur makes so much of its natural and sweet beauty and invites to tender play.
While most cats are very neat and groomed, many consider them something that has to be hidden and so they are rarely seen in art. Mostly one can see them in zoology (you know what I mean), but that's where they are not free, not happy, do not live and are not treated the way they would like to.
When in my photographs a cat appears happily visible (mostly with its fine fur) it appears because it's a implicitness that is naturally there. It is part of the nature I want to portray and I don't see any reason to hide it, just because some are afraid of cats, and even more of their confident, self-determined owners who decide when and how they show their lovely cat.
