There's always something good in the bad. At least almost always, and I believe in this case for sure!
The bad:
Several weeks ago I got a lumbago: heavy pain in the back that made me walking like an old grumpy man, almost incapable to get up from the bed or a chair. I already had this two times before when I was in Barcelona, where I knew a fantastic masseuse, a kind of esoteric, spiritual woman with hands that work wonders: a few hours after her treatment all pain was gone and I felt like 20 again. Well, almost ;-)
But now I am in Málaga and had to search for somebody to repair my back. Searching for a massage is not an easy task: googles programmers think about completely different things when they write the algorithms to find a massage therapist. I tried to search with all kind of search words and looked through a pile of, well, more or less nice women who instead of a list of therapies showed the female charms they maybe had some years ago.
Finally I decided for a place that offered physiotherapy with a promising text about back pains and "magic hands" - which should probably have made me skeptical, but obviously I am a bit naive sometimes - and my back hurt.
Well, you can imagine what happened: instead of applying a relieving massage that woman (wearing a white doctors coat and nothing else, as I discovered soon) smeared a ton of cheap oil ("Johnson's baby oil") all over me and then, pointing to my middle, asked with a smile that should have been seductive, if I want her really magic hands now or later.
When I said, that my right hand for sure does it better - and for free - even the last bit of her fake smile disappeared and I lost all hope for bettering my back. I went home feeling like a slippery fish and stood a felt hour under the shower to get rid of that coat of petrochemistry that didn't absorb into my skin: probably better for my health...
But here's the good:
The idea of taking photos of a beautiful girl covered all over with a non-absorbed, shiny coat of oil and water that turns into beautiful drops instead of just flowing off was burned into my brain. Anya is one of three girls that I photographed in that condition.
I am still experimenting. Using more or less oil, maybe other liquids... it depends on the occasions and also on the models, of course. You'll see it here!
