naked in paradise (preview)

Cadaqués is one of those "most beautiful places on earth". It is on the beginning (or end) of the Costa Brava right before Spain ends and France begins.

It is a small town on a truly wild coast with many small bays carved into rocks, the small beaches mostly with small stones.

It is famous not only for its beauty but also for it's probably most famous former inhabitant: Salvador Dalí. And because it's so famous I strongly advise against visiting it during the tourist season: If you are there in summer you get the feeling that they use a compression tool to put 2000 people per square meter.

This is maybe (just a little bit) exaggerated. Fact is that you will spend hours waiting in the permanent traffic jam on the only small road that leads there just to discover at then end that there is no parking space. If you finally are there you need all your force to fight through the masses of others who also made it, but your chances to recuperate in one of the many wonderful romantic restaurants are small if you haven't reserved weeks before.

Maybe you even find a place in one of the dreamlike beautiful bays to put your feet. Unless you have large feet...

All the contrary outside of the main season. 

The local people are relaxed, happy to be able to walk through the beautiful, often steep little streets without the need to cleave. You might find a place in one of the romantic gardens with (not cheap!, it's an exclusive place) the best cuisine you can imagine.

After dinner in one of those places Yana said about the mousse de bogavante (lobster mousse) to the owner "I just had a culinary orgasm". He got red - not that red like a cooked lobster, but he did not know what to say when this sexy young girl with her black mane, her large eyes and her sensual full lips, dressed in a more revealing than hiding mini-dress, talked sweetly about an orgasm to him :-)

And the bays: we literally had them just for us alone. We could stay naked the whole afternoon, play together, do what lovers do, and could gone even further if the stones on those beaches wouldn't be that hard (wen tried, though, with mixed success).

In other words, it was wonderful.

It was in October. The hotel in which we staid closed just the day after we left. Not because of us, but because of end of season. So, if you plan to go to Cadaqués once (I recommend it!), go in spring or in autumn. You will love it.
