This picture has a story

Although I work hard to find new models and to achieve extraordinary photos (like e.g. the last series I uploaded to my gallery on https://www.patreon.com/danielbauer ) and give my best to make my models feel comfortable, safe and free, there is more than talent and empathy: it’s a lot of luck that simply happens.
I often feel deeply grateful and for sure it is good to also express this gratitude in public.
But the actual story behind this image is an idea with which I tried to approach new possible models.
There is a facebook group for «the secret» (the book that proclaims that you can get whatever you want if you just order it at the universe and are grateful: the million dollar check arrives tomorrow and your longed-for dream partner sends you a love declaration tonight). Thousands, mostly women, publish their «orders» and «gratitude» there.
So why not do the same and publish an eye-catching image that could bring some of the female group-members to the idea that a collaboration with that photographer could be beneficial?
It did not work. The group denied the publication, probably because the aim was too transparent.
Still – and although I confess that I created this ad with a (not so) hidden agenda – my gratitude to the universe, god, the angels or whatever, and especially to my models, is real and honest even though the million dollar check (and the longed-for new muse) haven’t arrived – yet :-)
