Noah saves the bears (preview)

Because it's more or less impossible to put model search ads in Spain when in is about nudes (the ads sites block me...) most of my models right now are from Málaga: friends of other girls that have worked with me...

But of course the "pool" of friends is very limited, all my models know each other and share mostly the same group of friends and so I always try to find somebody outside of this group, that maybe could be the start of a new group of friends...  

So today I present you images I took last week of a young Spanish woman from quite far away up the coast. It was not easy for her to come here, first because of the Covid restrictions. Police controls the train stations and airports because principally it is not allowed to travel from one part of Spain to another, in fact travel is practically prohibited to Spaniards within their country unless they have a good reason, while tourists can travel freely - well another one of the often absurd measures taken...

Spain is very centralized, about everything is in Madrid. And so there is no direct train along the coast and Noah had to travel approx. 3 hours to Madrid, wait an hour and travel another two and a half hour to Málaga. 

Obvious that she could not have come here just for a test shooting and so I had to do the "casting" at distance, asking her to send me recent nude selfies so that, checking the meta data of the images, I could see that the photos were recent and not manipulated (you know, with those filters used on instagram everyone looks gorgeous, there was even a man who turned into female influencer just using photo manipulation apps on his phone...).

It is a bit risky still. The costs are high - besides of her model fee I have to pay the train, a hotel for some nights etc., and even after explaining and asking everything in detail per whatsapp, it's not the same as knowing somebody in person. In the end you don't know who will come and how you will feel with this person in front of the camera.

So I photographed Noah during two days and my patrons will see the results of those various sessions. Today I begin with the "sweet part" where I gave Noah a teddy bear so she had something to hold :-)
