Entertaining the city

As you maybe know I live right in the center of the old town of Málaga and the window of my living room that I use as a studio goes to one of the busy shopping streets. Sill I sometimes like to use the beautiful little balcony to shoot my models, knowing that the chance that somebody sees her is very, very small: everybody looks down to the floor, or more probably: to the cellphone...

It's a bit different with the windows of the buildings in front. Those are tourist flats and they could look directly into my living room and it is very often that there is somebody really worth seeing there, completely naked and above all in the bright focus lamps of my flashes. But tourism broke down almost completely due to the love of the politicians for a certain virus and if there was somebody they probably don't look because much more often than nice naked girls they would see me walking around in the nude - in summer I only dress when somebody comes or when I go out (and only because I have to, as far as I am concerned I'd never dress unless it's cold...)

Well, here I show you a series of a young model that I didn't see in person before the session. I invited her from another city after a "distance casting" via email and whatsapp. In a personal casting I talk with the future model very openly and direct about how I want her to appear in my photos and what I expect from her, and then take some test shots where I ask her to show herself very openly. Not only can I see the way she moves when I ask her to take those explicit poses but I can also feel how she feels when showing her to me and my camera. I can also see how her expression changes or, in contrary, if she has "only one face" like the so-called Instagram-Influencers that publish a million of photos and still always look exactly the same - boring.

I am a quite nice guy (I like to believe :-) ) and experienced in guiding a woman to lose her embarrassment. Although when looking at some content of my "Special"-level one might have a different impression, I never overstep the borders between a photographer and a model, neither physically nor mentally (in the cases where those borders are crossed, it was always the model who took the first steps, and very explicitly...). But of course I want the model to dive mentally into an erotic situation and then show me her most sensual and erotic sides. In most of the cases this happens, often even more than I'd first imagine.

But, of course, with Noah I didn't have the opportunity to know her before the session. For those images that I take it is essential that the model feels good, safe and that the chemistry between her and me works (again: within the boundaries of a photographer-model-relation), but with Noah there was not much of that important connection. She was open-minded and didn't put any limits on poses, she obviously tried to give her best, but it was obvious that she couldn't really "let go". I don't know how she looks in her Instagram, but it seemed to me that she didn't have the feeling to take sexy poses, to give some nice curves to her lovely body, to emphasize her shapes in a happy way - and that she was so very much concerned to "do it right" that her face had almost the same expression during all the shootings.

It also turned out that she once had lasered her pubic hair and now it didn't grow during the long time between our first contact and the session as I expected and as she told me that it would, and when I explained to her what I was missing in the first session of her stay here, I obviously made her even more insecure instead of animating her...

There has been not bad feelings, no bad tension between us. But the important spark didn't spark.

Still she is a nice and beautiful young girl and if the people on the street would have taken off their views from their phones for a moment I am sure they would have been quite happy, at least most of the men and some women, too :-)
