Flör is a very special young woman, nothing on her is conventional, neither the way she lives, nor the way she looks, nor the way she acts in her unlimited openness and friendliness.
And while I took photos of her on the chair (you'll see the series soon) I was fascinated, maybe especially by her literal openness that you can see in this series here.
So I used an intermediate ring to get really very close to her. I don't know if it is really called "intermediate ring" i English: it is a ring that you place between lens and camera and with this you can approximate to the object of desire so close as maybe 2, 3 centimeters.
The depth of field gets very short when you use that ring and focusing isn't that easy. Autofocus doesn't work, you have to focus manually which is quite a thing with those micro-viewfinders modern cameras have.
Another problem is that when you are so close you are almost always in the middle between the light and the object but on the other hand that gave me the occasion to stay a bit longer that close, moving a it up and down, to the left, to the right...
As you can see, some of the images that I took from a bit more far are not completely sharp or even quite out of focus.
While taking the images I was surprised to see her sharp in the viewfinder and also on the small screen of the camera, because to my knowledge it should not be sharp. And yes: seeing them on the larger computer screen, of course they are out of focus.
Still some of them are really beautiful and so I left them in the series although technically not perfect. But let's simply say: it's art and I did it on purpose :-)
It was very nice to see her sensual lips, her abundant body hair, her so very female details from so very close and I hope you feel the same!
