on the way to Colombia

So, we finally made it to the airplane... which actually wasn't that easy. We fly with IBERIA, a company that shines by the complete absence of customer care.

For a reason we had to change the flight from 29th to 30th of July. I did that change on July 7 per telephone, because - well, the web page of IBERIA simply doesn't work. A few days ago I realized that the agent on the phone changed only one of out tickets to the new date, although he sent a confirmation for both...

 I needed 3 hours to get somebody on the phone (more than 2 trials...) and finally also the other ticket could be changed. But then we had to fill online forms and I wouldn't go into details, just imagine that the page didn't accept the number of my Swiss passport (again hours in trying to get somebody on the phone...), and that was just the beginning.

We then had to be on the giant and chaotic airport of Madrid 4 hours before the flight! And after passing felt 50 controls and taking a coffee in the lounge, I received an sms message: Urgent: Immediately come to gate 15, we have to check something with your documents that is not clear.

Do I have to mention that on gate 15 there was nobody? And when I finally found somebody, she told me: oh, this is a standard message we send, it doesn't mean anything.

Well, the flight started with 40 minutes delay, but for some reason we landed 20 minutes earlier and could then stand in the row for two hours until we had passed the immigration control...
