very close-up details (preview)

Sometimes I get very close to my models, so very close that it is difficult to not produce a shadow with the lens on exactly what I want to photograph.

Here I used an intermediate ring between the camera and the 50mm lens that allows me to take macro shots: quite small details. With this setting the depth of field is very short which means that only a small distance is in focus and everything that is a bit more far away or closer gets blurred. The difference is within centimeters and to get those details I approximate the lens to only a centimeter or two to the models part of interest - thus the "problem" to avoid shadows with the lens in between light source and photographed object.

Some results are beautiful, with all the skin structure and all the hairs visible in every tiny detail, other look more experimental. And some, those in the series for my Special-level patrons, directly show how exciting it can be to get very close to a lovely woman, even if it is only with the camera...
