an artist and his artistic nudes, or not (preview)

One might think that it's just pure fun to make its life with looking at lovely, open-minded young girls and, apart of the joy that this obviously often includes, take some photos. And yes, it is a lot of fun and pleasure, no doubt, and I don't want to complain about my life which in great part really was and is wonderful and for which I am very grateful.

But apart of being a man who loves women, I see myself as an artist. And as an artist I am always questioning what I do, why I do it, if I reach the goals and express in my art what I want to express (and what exactly do I want to express...)... things like that. I do this all my life, and sometimes it leads to kind of a personal crisis (does anything of what I do make any sense?) and deep inside it makes me questioning if is right what I do, and if it's right, if it is worth the struggle.

I am not a writer, I am a photographer, and therefor I express myself in images, not in texts.

Still, I try to explain. As an artist I am always in search of "the" image. For example I'd love to take a photo of a pussy that on one hand shows it directly as is without hypocrite covering and on the other hand is so very beautiful and obviously artistic that one could hang it on a wall.

This is an extreme example (but a real one, especially my patrons of special-level can confirm that I try to achieve it sometimes), but the important part in "the picture" is the "the". It means one single picture.

It is much easier to have ideas and imagine one single image than for series. It is also much easier to realize it. You can set up a light for one single pose, one single angle. You can take the same image several times, changing very little in the pose, the expression, the light, the angle or even the lens. Then you can adjust the colors, the contrast very carefully and take an hour or two to edit it perfectly.

On the other hand I cannot have a Patreon with only my best images. In those 4 years that I have my Patreon I would have published maybe 200 images, or even less, like one every one or two weeks, and that for sure is not enough to attract paying sponsors like you (I take the opportunity to once again thank you!).

So I produce series, which has some disadvantages.

When I set up the light I cannot illuminate the model and the scene perfectly for one single point of view. The light must at least allow some movement and some changes in poses and angles and so in the end the light will not be perfect in all of the photos. I cannot search for the one optimal pose because I need several poses to make the series at least a little bit varied. Finally I cannot take the time to adjust the colors for each single image and take an hour to edit each one, when I have, 30, 60, 80 pictures...

Another contradiction, so to say, is the difference between a purely artistic approach, in which, for example, it is not necessary to show everything very explicitly, and those wonderful charms that attract me so much are only visible in the imagination, more or less, in contrary to images that leave no doubt about the details and the feelings that model and photographer lived during the shooting and that the images hopefully induce in the viewers...

(b.t.w. talking about "not showing everything" - I have a deep reluctance against those so-called insinuated nudes, you know those kitschy images where a towel "accidentally" covers nipples and other parts. I find directly repulsive those typical  instagram-pictures, where an allegedly "hot" girl is sitting with wide spread legs showing obviously fake excitation and an invitation to the observer to just "take her", but covers with a micro panty what is obvious and puts a star on each nipple to conform the hypocrite rules of the love-phobic Mr. Suckerberg. If there is arousal, then I want it real. If it's not real I don't want it. So, when in my images not "everything" is visible it is not because I or my model wants to hide it, but simply because in that situation it is not visible... I guess, you understand the difference.)

So I live in the contradictions between purely artistic and purely hot and between the optimal single image and a series of acceptable images. In the former, to be honest - and I guess, it is very obvious -, it is not just because of the "market demand" but also (or mainly?) because I simply love to see and to portray excitation and exciting parts, and because I often try to find an artistic approach even in the most daring images. The latter, though, is really "just" because I must offer quantity.

So I am dancing on a fine line and trying to find compromises. Sometimes I tilt over to one side, sometimes to the other.

The series I publish today give a good example. It is obvious, especially in the series for patrons of Power-level, that I tried to achieve a very artistic and beautiful result. It is also obvious that I designed the light especially for one pose (and actually I am very happy with the result). On the other hand my patrons of Special-level can see that it doesn't take a lot to tend to the other side of that fine line, especially when the model is very happy with what we do.

So, I hope I could give you some background information about my artistic process, and even more I hope that you like those images (taken this Sunday)!
