is a box on 4 wheels in which you can throw your money...

I don't know if anybody here is interested in the road trip I just finished (apart of the many beautiful and often daring nudes I took and hat you will see here with time), but anyway I will report a bit abut it.

So the beginning wasn't that nice as the rest... I was driving the 1000 kilometers from Málaga to Barcelona, where I would pickup my lovely, sweet wonderful... company Priscilla, but not even driving half the distance my old car showed me a blinking battery light. And then started to stutter.

I took the next exit from the highway, somewhere in the nowhere of Spain and checked on google maps for the next Citroen service station. Luckily there was one only 2 minutes away. Less happy I was when receiving the diagnosis: the generator has given up and was as dead as can be.

Now changing a generator isn't really a small thing - and repair shops out in the nowhere usually don't have a spare generator right for my antique car model. They didn't. Furthermore it was late in the afternoon. Citroen's representation in Madrid was already closed, a new generator could only be ordered the next day, and would arrive in the town the day after...

I was quite desperate because I had done the complete plan for our trip in advance, with all the hotel reservations and, apart of losing the money for the very next hotel stays that could not be cancelled anymore, in the high travel season of August it could get difficult to find hotels at a reasonable price if I would have to change them...

But the garage staff was very helpful. The head sat on the phone... and the next day at noon my car was happily equipped with a new generator. I reached Barcelona the planned day, picked up Priscila, and the journey finally began...
