New Resolutions

Did you take new year resolutions?
I did. I took some easy resolutions, good for me I am not a quitter. I intend to keep doing it everyday. My resolution is
Wake up, Exercise, Shower, Eat, Work, Sleep.

Last year December month I went through some stuff. They were heavy and hard to pass. But at the end of those harsh moments, I realized one thing. This may happen again. But I must be prepared for next time. Hence the resolution. 

Am I following them?
Yes. You seeing I made a Friday post on Friday is the proof of it.

It's just one week, since I follow the resolutions. I can feel my optimism is working better and I gain my confidence again. I almost cheated to not do it two times within this 6 days. But fortunately, I decided to do it even if the results turns bad. That was a great decision.

New Changes

Confirmed Changes

1. I have been working on XIX for 3 years. Though I felt hard that last update wasn't received well. That took me some time to recover. I am not going to let that happen again. I am not going to let the world's opinion make me go down. I am going to keep making XIX as the way I wanted to make. Either you like it, love, it, hate it, it's your experience. My intention is to make you happy when playing the game. That's all it is. Whether the game has bad story, bad dialogues, bad drawings, bad characters, bad gameplay setup, it is ok as long as I can make you, the one who play my game, feel happy. I will keep try doing that until I succeed. 

2. Rebirth works. I work on XIX and Project Possible for most of my time. When I over work myself in XIX or PP, I take some time off from them, and work on a Gargoyles based game called Rebirth. Rebirth is a simple game where you have to simply talk people into sex. I work on this game mainly to learn about the gameplay and reward mechanism. Considering this has gargoyle appearances, I am not sure whether patreon will let me release it here or not. But it sure will be released in subscribestar. And I decided to make the full game with only sketches first and release it to only patrons for a while to check if the gameplay and reward system works.
I have worked so far to character sketches. You can see them below. 

One more thing is Rebirth is neither a Love game like XIX, nor a Trainer game like Book 5 Untold. This will be different. And that is my intention.

Unconfirmed changes

1. The versions naming. I mostly release updates in order of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 etc., When Akanoes or me make bug fixes, we will name the updates as 0.2a, 0.3c, 0.4b etc., I plan everything beforehand so the events, scenes in updates will be in a certain volume. Which also requires me around 4 months to complete an update. But since we work on each update only around 2 months of time. Some events and scene has to skipped to next versions due to lack of time. So after the upcoming update, the update names will be changed accordingly. Even if the update have many events, there are some people judge the contents based on the naming basis. So we are still thinking how to name the future updates, or we can even do that.

2. Patreon adult creator policies. This one is like dentist putting his head into lion's mouth and looking for cavity. Patreon policies were not a big problem for me in my 5+ years as an adult creator. But now, they want to make sure I am an adult, and they say the best way to do that is providing all my information about myself, showing my identity and proving my existence. Which I never want to do. I can say where I am belongs to, or where I am living, but what they ask is too much for me to give. So this is going to be an issue with patreon. I sent mail to them about this issue and haven't heard anything. Might be the holiday season. But I will wait for it.
I am preparing for worst case scenarios as well. As I mentioned in the beginning, I am not a quitter. I will make adult games as much as I want to. Only thing I have to figure out is how to gain support despite patreon's action against adult creators. Once I got that right, I will let you know.

3. Tier Rewards. I am releasing rewards for higher tier patrons and subscribers. They are mostly game image set, HD packs, HD illustrations, sketches. Other than this, I was also willing to provide character sprites and scene work files. I asked some times which/who you want, and got no replies. So thinking about removing that part of the rewards. The rest will be remaining same mostly.

2. I work on Gargoyles game called Rebirth. I am making it using only sketches. Will release it as a patron only due to patreon regulations. It will be public one day.

Unconfirmed Changes

1. The version naming of upcoming updates may be different in future.

2. Patreon's new adult creator policies will become an issue in the future. I will keep making adult games, but I have to find a way to gain supporters despite patreon actions.

3. Thinking about removing Character sprites and Scene work files from rewards. other rewards will be same as they are now.
