Updating my workflow

I've been working really hard on reskinning my characters and creating a new skin surface, lighting set ups etc. I've even got a remodelled vagina mesh I'm going to be using. I'll post the pic in a second.
First of all, here's how the skin has progressed :)

Nevertheless I think you are looking for honest feedback and me personally must say: the old skin looked much better to me. While the new skin with the stronger surface illumination or βshine effectβ helps here or there too add focus on some spots it overall results in the skin and the whole model looking like a plastic puppet. The older skin texture gave much more real looking, realistic skin colors. I would prefer sticking with the old one. And yes they are fantasy girls with songs anyway but they look like real and with the new skin like platicπ
