Greetings, I think it would be interesting to see a map that displayed subtle changes in temperatures from north to south and subtle changes in vegetation and/or elevation from the east to west. For example... Ice biomes to the north, followed by snowy biomes below it that gradually converts into grasslands. Keep going south and soon you may find yourself in dry/deadlands that eventually turns into mesa biomes, then desert. Go even further south into burnt lands. A magma biome with volcanos at the southernmost part of the map. You could continue to play along with this temperature concept by simultaneously incorporating changes in vegetation and/or elevation form east to west. This could result in some very unique biomes... Like a frozen jungle to the north, and a burnt jungle to the south. A map with this concept could be very useful to a large variety of players. Most players love multi-biome worlds. Players could have a general understanding of where certain biomes are located without ever having to look at coordinates. Hopefully my suggestion is useful to you. If you decide to use this concept feel free to expand upon the idea and make changes to it. After all, you are the expert! I like the concept of a world being slowly consumed by darkness, maybe you could have it so sculk has swallowed a good portion of a map. And that the player has to visit fallen shrines to defeat the warden's guarding those shrines. Could have just a command block summon 1 warden when a player activates a trap or something to start the boss fight. At least I hope the idea isn't too much...
