As you guys might have seen, in the past week i have uploaded a few new worlds for you to enjoy.
Questions for you:
- What kind of terrains would you like to see?
- Have you tried out these worlds yet?
- How/where could i improve these worlds for creative builds?
What are these?
Creative Builder Worlds are "simple" foundation worlds to be expanded on by you.
Huge flat plains + beautiful mountains + vast river systems!
Perfect for large scale or any creative builds in beautiful scenery's .
It includes a Base-World and the Worldpainter files.
And with the Worldpainter files, you can customize it to your needs!
Need a desert? Possible!
Want to remove a Mountain? Possible!
Remove a River? Done.

At which Tier will it be available?
Currently planned:
Iron $5 : 1-8k World + Worldpainter Files
Copper $9 : 8k+ World + Worldpainter Files (9k+ worlds are to be tested next - at such large scales, rendering in WM and especially ChunkyRender (Images for visuals) will be extremly challanging and was a main limitation in the past )
8k for Iron-tier & Source Files without Source Files Tier?
This can be subject to change, as this is currently mainly in the initial / experimental stage, BUT:
8K:
With this project section i probably make my tier-ing system a little more complicated to understand/unwrap. And I´d like to keep it simple for the future, but i also want to give more value to every tier.
+ With my technical expanded capabilities, bigger worlds have become more common, so the Iron Tier received a little less content over the time, so i want to bring more worlds to more people.
Source Files:
Well, i believe the main value of this is in the capability to change the world to your desired needs. And therefore should be the base level that you should receive. Making it actually useful to obtain, while providing more value for the support you provide in the end.
Release Plan?
The goal: Weekly
These are development heavy but execution light worlds for me - so i hope to do many worlds in preparation over the year, to deliver for you consistently many new worlds.
Delivered Version?
Vanilla 1.18
Oreless
Caveless
Bare Stone
The Included layers are:
Rivers
Mountain Biome
Snowy Slopes
Plains Biome
Gravel Flows

Why 1.18?
For the height capabilities of -64 to 320 .
Im considering older versions, but would need mayor reworks the scaling of the world and mountains in WorldMachine for that. So 1.18 for now to help in future developments.
Dev thoughts:
The survival worlds were the frontier of my development - as time went on, the build became more and more complex, making the program slow and unresponsive - kinda bad for fast iterations and improvements. So i started out doing a secondary development builds / projects out of which this has been resulted.
In the future i want to develop further new terrain styles, try and perfect them on these custom worlds and then implement them into the survival worlds.
For example:
In these few versions, worked out a new way to generate the base land, make it better conform to a desired layout while also adding a high variety on the shape.
In version 10 I was able to figure out how to introduce lakes once again in a manual and automatic way.
In Version 8/9 i worked out a new way to place mountains along "continental rifts" gifing them a more natural placement
In Version 5, i was originally working out the gen 5 alpine mountain range - which was implemented into Xaroterra, then further developed into gen 6, shifting the style into a Rocky Mountains style, which was implemented in Berotorm.
