Poll: Worlds: What to improve next?

Checking for your Opinion

Where do you see spaces and key areas, that i should improve further on future worlds?

After having played survival mode through multiple of your very pretty maps, I can also agree some of the structure stuff could be improved. Many structures seem evidently not hand-placed, many mesh with the environment in weird ways, like buildings in villages having no open acess, tents stuck inbetween trees, etc. Some structures seem a little uninspired, but that only became an issue after stumbling across the same ones multiple times. On a much older version of minecraft, there used to be a survival map named 'Apterra' which had some very well-made, handcrafted and unique structures like dungeons, bunkers, lost jungle temples with assortments of traps, multiple gated towns, pathways connecting structures of civilization, and even a pre-spawn section where you can DECIDE on 1 of 4 spawnpoints, based on a short message about your background. 'I was a knight from a distant time' makes you wake up in a closed-off crypt in the mountains. 'I'm a stranded castaway' makes you wake up on a beach of a jungle island. 'I'm the child of a poor farmer' makes you wake up on a farm not far from a wealthy fishing town. etc etc.... I'm absolutely certain your maps could benefit from this if it means to up the survival-friendly aspect of them. Another note is the cave generation also tends to do weird stuff, like create canyons in the middle of water surfaces, or strange sinkholes around beaches or riverbeds. As of right now you are the top dog of these large-scale survival-friendly terrain maps, the ideas with the balloons is awesome, same with the occasional custom biomes, some non-vanilla terrain like basalt around volcanoes are also awesome touches. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for that amazing feedback, agreeing with many things mentioned. More custom Biomes: will come (kinda, but more minecraft related & realism leaned), maybe some patches of fantasy biomes/locations but not full scale biomes. As my objective, as its been in the past, to not deviate from Minecraft environmental guides/rules to extremely. Which gets increasingly challenging :D More POI-Structures, mhm i see - i held the position that people would create such builds and my objective is to enable such ideas with the provided world environment, but yea more unique locations via structures seems to be a much wished aspect

Having done multiple smps and some single player exploring there's two aspects I'd like to improved on. Firstly is I'd like to see three of those options wrapped together, more interesting pois- that encourage exploration and looking into them with loot- and that tell a story. Imagine there a two ruined castles on the map, leading up to them you see destroyed towers and fortifications maybe a burned down camp from long ago, in the chests you might find gear that knights would have and food for the camp. Perhaps a pillaged temple. All of these things on their own are just pois but you could imagine what happened. Never make and signs, never explain it to the player, just let them imagine. That's the most important part. Secondly I would like to see more inspired pois, I love coming across your mushroom biomes, they're such a cool improvement to the base game and it feels like you gave them a personal touch, but I'd like to see more unique or even more fantastical biomes like maybe a nether infestation, a forest of stacked rocks, rivers of glass or something. It makes me more inspired to build a base and gives unique prompts to do so, what kind of house would I build in the stone forest? Anyways I already love what you're doing and can't wait to see what you come up with next
