July Update!

Hi everyone,

First off, I'd like to give thanks and a warm welcome once again to all my new patrons. Last month was amazing, and it's great to have all of you on board!

Now, down to business. Rianna will no longer be working on Seafoot Games content, as she wants to spend more time writing and illustrating her short stories, which you can find here: amazon.com/author/riannastahl. Digital Consciousness is great if you're into sci-fi's!

This will not effect the maps at all, and please be assured we’re still on good terms. It just means I'll be writing the map descriptions myself now, so they're probably not going to be quite as good as writing isn't my specialty.

Secondly, I'm going to be combining the Map of the Month into the fourth map I do every month. So instead of five total maps, you'll only get four. This is to give me more time to work on other map projects for you all. In place of the fifth map, I intend to finish and release the basic modular map kit I’ve been working on. After that, I’ll begin working on releasing new modular pieces every month (the base modular kit will be out in August).

With Rianna’s help, I'm also going to be updating all the Patreon Tiers, to be more succinct and accurate. I also feel the way current tiers are written could be much more to the point.

That sounds awesome as well!!

Love this idea!

Not quite ;) the modular map kit will contain a bunch of 10x10 tiles with various layouts that connect seamlessly no matter which way you place them. So what you do is select the layouts you want and just put them next to each other till the dungeon is made, this way anyone can create interesting dungeons even if they aren't artists and it will work for online platforms or as printed tiles. The first set is focused on a dungeon environment however my end goal is to have sets of all environments that seamlessly connect to each other, you'll be able to go from a forest, to a cave, to a dungeon then to a swamp and back to a forest etc.

Keep up the great work! Transparent, clear and open communication on top... what's not to like? Looking forward to the modular map kit. Is this what I have been torturing you about on reddit? Like a basic map template? <3
