Keeping up with Patreon
Added 2018-03-19 11:40:08 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Just wanted to update you on all the goals. I'm going to be starting my audio-reading of the Hobbit for the $10+ people in the next few days! I'll also be putting up my IKEA non-content soon, as well as doing the meetup next weekend for people in the $25+.
I was also said I was going to do a Let's Play for the $5+/$10+ people, but I think it might be more fun to do a monthly game day instead where I say what game we're playing and you can join in and play - maybe even stream it. (LoL/Civ/etc). What do you think? Just trying to make the rewards a bit more fun and iron everything out more. If you can think of any other rewards, post them and I'll take them into consideration!

That's something that I think would be worth streaming, though of course you'll get input from viewers. Up to you if you would want that.

2018-03-22 04:33:17 +0000 UTCI think getting to play a game with you and other fans sounds amazing! I woulf be cool with the lp thing you originally had in mind too though.

2018-03-19 20:07:18 +0000 UTCSome League fan games where we force gmart to play. Now that would be a grand old time. I was interested in the patreon only playthrough but it might be too big a time investment really, since a playthrough could potentially last more than a month.
2018-03-19 17:56:24 +0000 UTCHow long do you plan to do the meet up? I know I'll unfortunately be busy until 5:30

2018-03-19 14:33:59 +0000 UTCYea a monthly games with fans is better than an LP chosen by fans, as we would quickly get into a situation where we pick games you don't like to play

2018-03-19 13:58:52 +0000 UTCWhat might be fun is you picking a big, complicated game you don't know much about and doing monthly 'where I learn' videos. Pick something like Europa Universalis 4, start from knowing nothing, play for a while (maybe with other know nothing backers) and then stop, give a summary of what you learned and then, for the next installment try and use what you learned to do better. Repeat until you think you're done with that game and move on to another?
