Kids do say the darndest things… I was told that as a toddler, when learning my colors, I developed a habit of pointing at things- including people’s skin color- and shouting my findings aloud… I’d point at strangers and proudly announce either “peach” or “brown”, and my mom would be mortified, apologizing to my victims and explaining to me that was not a nice thing to do but, bless my heart, I had no idea why… it’s no wonder I wound up in therapy by preschool… 🤦🏼♂️
