Meet the Neon Lights!

Neon is a publishing and promotion company that fields some of the hottest underground talent in Pit City and gives them prime real estate to promote themselves as creators. It's called Pit City because it's inside of a giant underground tunnel lit by magic crystals. So, any talent from there is literally underground talent! These three are the faces of the company, known as the Neon Lights. They're definitely an eclectic mix, let me tell you...

On the left we have Nix Hinds, Pit City's premier video game streamer and party girl. She's mouse-hyena hybrid who has made plenty of appearances at Pit City's various bars, clubs, and concerts causing a ruckus and lighting the dance floor on fire with her fun loving presence. When she isn't out partying or streaming, she's either eating big meals, snacking, or sleeping. Seems like short bursts of energy aren't really the best regiment for exercise, not that she or her fans mind of course. She was the second one to sign on with Neon after it was founded, and her popularity along with her positive relationship with the founding members led to her becoming one of the Lights.

In the center, the founding member and the big boss herself Elizabeth Payne, although everyone calls her Liz. A motivated and hard-working rat girl, she made her name as a young journalist who quit Pit City's largest broadcaster and struck out on her own to make independent journalism. As such, she's tough, she's brave, and she has a lot of nerve and persistence. She founded Neon in order to support herself as her own boss, but also so she could help other independent minded people be more visible to the rest of the world. Outside of her work, she's actually quite funny and fun to be around, enjoying games of skill like darts and pool and long talks where she can share her ideas about the world.

Last but not least, on the right is Mitsuki Akagawa. She's a little weird. Well, actually a lot weird. A fennec fox from outside of Pit City, she moved there with her parents and was inspired by the city's strange qualities. She's quite shy and despite having a lot of talents she was never able to express them because of her overwhelming shyness and social awkwardness. With the help of the internet and an alias though, Mitsuki was able to truly shine with her beautiful, weird, and provoking abstract art that would post on pages under the name Tsukino. These pages got a lot of popularity for Mitsuki, leading Neon started to sponsor Tsukino when Liz figured out that Mitsuki was the one behind the art. She's still getting used to being recognized for her work, but she's decided that it's a good thing that people know what she's capable of.

Maybe you'll keep see these girls around!
