Gabs on the Beach

"Uhm... hey Hazel, uhm... uh..."
"Hm?" The catcoon turned around and smiled as she sat her bag down underneath the umbrella toward the edge of the sand. "Hey Gabby."
The shark shuffled about on her feet, clasping her hands together and nervously rubbing them together. She looked off to the side in an attempt not meet Hazel's eyes despite having approached her. "H-Hi..." she mumbled, her face beet red against her very blue face. She had on a fairly modest looking one piece swimsuit that still wasn't leaving much to the imagination.
Noting her roommate's nervousness, Hazel frowned. "Anything wrong, Gabs?"
Gabby squeaked, rubbing the back of her head nervously. "N-No, n-not really... I just wanted to ask how I looked before... I went to find my friends on the beach."
Hazel smiled hearing that. "You have nothing to be nervous about. You look great, I promise!"
Gabby looked down at herself. "Even though I've gained weight...?"
Hazel went over to the shark and hugged her, making the younger girl gasp at the sudden action. "I know it's hard to not be self conscious at the beach. But this is summer vacation! Everyone lets themselves go a little bit. I know I have... and Saph has. Even your sister has. But that shouldn't stop you from having fun. Just enjoy yourself, alright?"
Gabby slowly hugged Hazel back. "Bless you, Hazel... you always know exactly the right thing to say."
Hazel giggled. "As if! You're the one with the empathy magic."
