New Notice about Game developing and 'Ridickulous' comic

게임제작과 신규 만화와 관련되어 알려드릴 사항이 있기에 이렇게 근황글을 씁니다 :)

세 줄 요약은 맨 아래에 있습니다

우선 게임제작 이야기 먼저입니다.

최초에 본 게임은 '아조씨 나랑 격겜할래요?' 라는 이름으로 하나의 여자주인공과 1대1로 스토리가 진행되도록 완성할 간단한 게임으로 기획했었습니다.

그런데 앞선 프로그래머가 (앞에는 아직 본인이 먼저 외부에 알리지 않아서 이유를 말씀드리지 않았습니다만)군대에 갔습니다... ㅠ

본디 완성 후에 들어오는 수익을 프로그래머와 나누는 식으로 약속하여, 초기 투자비용을 많이 들이지 않고 이후 수익을 나누는 형태로 게임을 제작하려 했었기에 게임 제작 진행이 가능했었습니다.

해당 군대간 프로그래머가 함께 할 수 없게 된 이후부터 다른 프로그래머들을 찾아봤으나,

모두 수익 분배보다는 선금을 받는 형태를 원했습니다. 이 경우 천 만원이 넘어가는 프로그래밍 비용이 발생합니다.

당장 제가 주머니에서 단숨에 천 만원 이상 꺼내서 투자할 수 있는 형편이 아니기에

이러한 방식으로는 게임제작을 지금 즉시 진행할 수 없다고 판단했습니다

(스스로 코딩을 하는 것도 생각해봤지만 코딩을 배울 시간에 만화를 그려서 번 돈으로 프로그래머를 충당하는게 더 싸게 먹힐 것 같습니다 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ;)

그래서 프로그래밍 비용을 충당하기 위해서 우선 만화 하나를 연재하고 와야할 것 같아요 :(

이 때문에 앞서 한 번 말씀드렸던 주옥같은 만화를 일본에서 정식연재를 해 보기 위해 준비를 하려고 합니다.

하지만, 만화가의 가장 큰 단점 중 하나는 플랫폼에 연재시, 논의 과정에서 마지막 컨펌이 나기 까지 될지 안 될지 확실하지 않더라도 일단 몇회차분을 '완성'해야된다는 점입니다.

만화 완성엔 상당한 시간이 걸리기에, 당장 게임 작업은 주옥같은 만화를 충분한 양 만큼 완성하기까지는 보류하고, 주옥같은 만화를 먼저 제작할 예정입니다.

연재 할 지 말 지 결과는 3월달쯤 나올 것 같습니다.

실패하게 되면 실패한 대로 패트리온에 연재하고, 성공하게 되면 라스트오리진 공식만화가를 통해 많은 인지도를 얻은 것 처럼, 일본에서도 인지도를 키울 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다.

주옥같은 만화, 부부만화를 그리는 외의 시간 (스트리밍 등)에선 여전히 게임제작에 필요한 이미지 작업을 계속 할 예정이며, 게임의 제작 완성 시간이 연기되는 만큼 게임 볼륨을 키워,

'아조씨 나랑 격겜할래요?' 가 아닌, 추가 캐릭터들이 처음부터 얼굴을 비추는 스토리로 바뀐 '아조씨 우리랑 격겜할래요?' 로 바뀔 예정입니다.

첨부된 캐릭터의 이미지가 기존 유일한 여자주인공이었던 랜뽑이의 자매들입니다 :)

주옥같은 만화를 연재한다면 아마도 1년 가까이 연재할 것 같고, 게임 제작은 그 이후 아마 즉시 재개할 것 같습니다. (그 때 쯤이면 게임 이미지 작업은 거의 완전히 끝나있을 것 같습니다. 도중에 만화가 잘 된다면

아마 즉시 진행할 수도 있을 것 같습니다.)

세 줄 요약

-수익 분배로 협업하기로 한 프로그래머가 군대가서 신규 프로그래머들 찾아봤지만 모두 수익분배가 아니라 선금 형태를 원함. 천 만원(!) 이상 드는데 당장 그럴 돈이 없음.

-그래서 그 돈을 구하기 위해 주옥같은 만화를 일본에서 연재하려고 해 볼 예정. 연재여부 결과는 3월달쯤 나옴

-부부만화는 계속 그림, 게임 제작은 연기되어도 이미지 작업은 계속 해서, 이후 프로그래밍만 하면 되게끔 계속 진행함.

How are you guys all doing? I hope everything is going well with you.

I encountered some realistic issue in my project.

And I'm here with the solution :)

I announced before that my programmer had some big event and he no longer can work with me.

Now I can tell the reason. It's because he went to the military...!

So, I tried to find another programmer who can work with me.

But, every programmer wanted to get the pay by their works. not by sharing the profit of the game.

(The reason why I was able to work on my game was because the former programmer was someone I know, and we were about to share the profit of the game when the game was made. In this case, I don't need a bunch of start up money to work on the game)

If I pay by their(programmer's) works, I need at least $10,000 to start...!

Sadly, I'm not that rich to spend $10,000 for my game project. I'm just an individual artist...

I even tried to do the programming part by myself, but I think earning money from my comics to pay other programmer is more time saving.

So, I decided to make some money before I start working on the game.

I'm going to re write 'Ridickulous' to publish in Japan.

Do you remember I mentioned that I got contact from Japanese publisher few month ago?

I'll take this chance and try.

I was hesitating to take the chance or not because, one of the worst part of the comic artists is, comic artists have to complete drawing few chapters of comic to really talk about with publishers

even though the comic artist doesn't know how the result is going to be. and completing few chapters takes a lot of time.

The result that I confirm publishing or not is going to be out in March 2021.

But, looks like there no choice for me at this point to finish making the game. (because I need money to hire people LOL)

I'll try my best to make the 'Ridickulous' published in Japan.

And this might be a good chance to get more fans just like I tried to become the official comic artist of 'Last Origin' and made it.

But there not only bad news about postponing the game.

Because I postpone the game developing, I decided to make the game volume bigger than before.

There was only one main girl character before, but now, there are going to be total 4 girl characters in the game, more dialog and more actions to play with.

In short

-I tried to hire new programmer but, they all wanted the money first which costs more than $10,000. I don't have that much money right now.

-So, I decided to earn some money by publishing 'Ridickulous' in Japan and I'm preparing for it. The result(that I publish or not)will be out in March 2021.

comic needs pretty long time to discuss with publishers :(

-Game developing has been postponed but, It'll be back with bigger volume(I'll still be working on arts though I don't have a programmer yet).

-LHOH is going to be published just like now. 

I'm sorry to always postpone things but I will finish this and make you guys be proud of me:)
