Hello, I'm B-flat.

I'm the author of "The Agnietta: The Healer and the Cursed Dungeon."

I'll be sharing the development of my new project on this Patreon page.

In early June, I was diagnosed with pneumonia from Covid and took a while to recover. This delayed this news release by a few days; I'm sorry to keep you all waiting.

La Vitalis : Immortal Loss

The Steam Revolution changed the world. Each day makes life better as humans become more and more empowered by this technological explosion. Yet as humanity flourishes, the planet suffers...

Yet underneath this seemingly endless prosperity, a crack has emerged. A plague known only as the "Black Catastrophe" is spreading across the land. No one knows its origin, though some believe it may be punishment for mankind's selfish consumption of the Earth's precious resources...

Vita is a uniquely talented and skilled physician, having graduated at an extraordinarily young age. Despite her youth, she remains serious and dedicated to her profession so as not to be seen as immature or inexperienced to her peers who are decades older. The "Black Catastrophe" does not faze her; when faced with the realities of life and death, she does not hesitate to free any living creature from its pain.

"My duty is to end the suffering from disease in both the living and the dead."

This project will be developed using Unity and animated using Spine.

Please grant me your patience while I learn how to effectively use them as they are both new to me.

My experience from the first game will hopefully assist with the steep learning curve!

Progress:

Since releasing The Agnietta two months ago, I have been continuously learning and programming the new software. The basic vital systems and scripts have been completed. Below is a table outlining what will be completed for the demo:

Ticked items are completed--as you can see, adjusting and perfecting body animation is a top priority. I will continuously update you on animation progress before the demo is released.

Release schedule:

Due to my lack of experience in making animations, I cannot be sure how long it will take to complete the demo. Ideally, we will have a release within three months at the latest.

由於六月初時我新冠肺炎確診,休養了一陣子身體才康復。

La Vitalis : 永恆的欠損

故事發生在蒸氣革命以後,人類對於蒸氣技術的運用已達極致,但疑似由於人類對環境資源無所不用其極的攫取,一個名為黑色災難「Black Catastrophe」的瘟疫降臨世間,影響了這片大地與所有的生物。

薇妲是位出類拔萃的瘟疫醫生。她除了履行正常的治病職責以外,如果對象生物已受到嚴重的瘟疫感染,在判斷無法治療後,她會馬上讓其解脫。儘管她很年輕,但熟習生物學的她能輕易且快速的解決一個生命,且不讓其在解脫過程中多受苦難。

《我的職責是讓生物免於疾病的折磨,不論是生或是死。》

※試玩版預定內容與相關工作規劃

本遊戲專案將會使用Unity進行開發,並且使用Spine進行骨架動畫化。

由於此兩項軟體對我而言均是全新上手的狀態,我從第一個遊戲專案能傳承的只有遊戲相關開發的經驗與全局觀,因此需要一些時間來針對新軟體學習與打磨。

試玩版預定項目

工作規劃

在治癒使販售後的這兩個月我持續的接觸與學習新軟體,目前已經完成了數個必要的系統與腳本。下表是試玩版預定項目要完成的詳細工作規畫內容:

打勾的項目為已完成的項目,可見未來骨架動畫的調適將會是一大工作項目。

我也會在試玩版放出之前,持續公布骨架動畫的製作進度的。

預定時程

由於相關製作動畫經驗不足,我不能確定需要多少時間才能完成試玩版。

但希望最遲三個月內可以將試玩版公布。

感謝支持。由於對新軟體的掌握程度還不純熟,等第一個試玩版放出後,我會比較能確定整體週期,但希望也是2~3年以內的專案。
