Update: As the image says: I’m Still Alive!! – June 17, 2019

For those who don’t know, surgery went well on Wednesday and they were able to at least remove the 9mm stone from my kidney, as well as, replaced the large stent they had put in the Tuesday before with a small gage one.

Two hours after surgery, I was back home and resting somewhat comfortably in my bed… still pretty doped up, but at least out of the antiseptic halls and rooms of the hospital.

Come Thursday evening, I really began to feel the effects of the surgery and had to return briefly to the pain meds to combat the pain, as well as, Azo to help with the burning during urination.

The doctor told me that, for the next couple of days, I would be passing small granules of the stone that were too small to pick up and expect some of the burning to persist.

Well, it is now Monday morning here and I have gone nearly 36 hours without having to take a pain killer, which is nice and the first time I’ve gone without taking one since May 25th, so there is some progress.

It still feels as though I have a thousand papercuts on the tip of my you-know-what whenever I have to use the restroom, but the Azo is at least helping some so that I don’t curl up into a ball and whine till the burning passes.

Next, I will be going back to see the doctor on Wednesday at 3:30pm eastern time to have the stent taken out of me, I will also, hopefully, learn if they were able to get rid of the 3mm and 1mm stones that I had in that kidney… if they did, then I am completely stone free for the moment and don’t have to think about having to go through this again.

Till then, I will keep doing what I’ve been, working here and there on some of the stuff that is needed for the game… haven’t been doing a whole lot like I normally do, but have been slowly progressing and getting some stuff done at least… I am, very much, looking forward to getting back up to full speed, once more!!!

July’s “Chapter Two” release is certainly going to be late, there is no way around it… but, as I said, I have been working and not just ignoring my duties to all of you… just couldn’t pump it out like you are familiar with me doing in the past, so I apologize.

I want to thank all of you for your kind words, prayers and support that you sent to me, it gave me much to look at and read while sitting waiting for the surgery and knew that I was going to do ALRIGHT with all of you looking out for me like you were… I can’t thank you enough for the support!!!

I will let you know how things go on Wednesday and, in the meantime, I’ve got some rendering that needs to be done!
