Dear patrons and everyone else reading this post,
this year is coming to the end and this time it feels like a real milestone. Some months ago I made a big step and resigned from my full-time job in a mobile game company after 5 years of working there. It has been an interesting time, but now I don't feel like I can grow in this pot anymore and I need a new one (I am a delicate plant, you know). In January my contract ends and I will be making my way as a full-time freelance artist!
I also want to create more of my art. There are characters and stories impatiently waiting to be drawn after being pushed into some back drawer of "when I have some time". So Patreon will become even more important for me and I hope it will allow me to be able to take on fewer client work and have more time for my projects. You can expect new things to happen here in 2020: there will be new reward tiers and more exclusive content. I am still planning those, so feel free to comment your ideas and wishes!
But before all of this happens I need to take a break. Working for game companies for many years has lead to a great divide between my personal art and "work art" and sometimes i don't know what I still enjoy anymore (my followers might have noticed that the term ART CRISIS has been popping up a lot in the recent years). And being active on social media comes with it's downsides, too: the never-ending stream of awesome art is hugely inspiring, but sometimes it becomes the opposite and just overwhelms me. I feel like there are just too many styles and techniques I want to be able do, but can't, and I sometimes feel a tinge of jealousy coming up every time I see other artists doing cool things. On the other hand I feel the pressure to post new art constantly to stay a part of the "art crew". So I decided to do something radical (for me, a committed social media addict): I will take a break from Instagram and Twitter for some weeks and take the time to reconnect with myself and what moves me to make art.
To remove pressure to deliver art I have also paused the payment for my Patreon page for January 1st, so none of you will be charged. We'll see each other back somewhere in January! (you can still sign up and become a patron if you aren't already, so you don't miss any future content)
I hope by then this pile of mailed postcards will have reached you:

Oh boy, it has taken a while to copy all the addresses and glue all the envelopes closed! If you receive nothing in the next weeks despite expecting a postcard please write me. With this amount of letters it's pretty much guaranteed that some mistakes were made.
And I will end this post with some super sneak peaks of art in progress you might get to see in the more or less near future:

As you can see there will be some kinky content for sure.
Now go enjoy your holidays and have a great start into the next decade!
