Some bad news im afraid...

Hey everyone, I'm sorry to say I've had a rough few months and now some bad news. In July (ish) i started to notice some mild numbness in my foot, I thought it was because my boots were too tight or something else. I also had some mild numbness in my right hand, which i attributed to carpal tunnel.

Pass a few weeks and the numbness suddenly ramped up to about 6/10 on my entire right side, as if my body were split in two from the top if my head to my foot, entire right side numb. I freak out a little and go to the doctor. Things take forever, getting into my primary, then getting a referral to a neurologist, waiting, waiting.

Finally, I have another ramp up, numbness goes to a 9/10 and i get double vision and dizzy spells. I go to the emergency room and they admit me immediately, do an MRI, then load me into an ambulance and ship me off to the hospital known for neurologists.

Two days in the ICU, a ton of tests/scans/blood draws etc, hooked up to machines and iv's... it wasn't pretty.

They determined that I have a 'cavernous capillary malformation' in my brain that is bleeding and is now about the size of a large grape. It's in the nucleus of my brain, pressing on my brain stem which is causing the numbness.

I need surgery... its not an easy surgery, its risky. I am scheduled for 11/28 at Barrow Brain and Spine (the best in the country at this). I'm still terrified.

I just want to thank all of you for your support, and I hope in the coming weeks I will make a full recovery. I have no idea what to expect, but for now I am working like crazy to get caught up on all my projects and posting them in advance so there is (hopefully) no interruption for you all.
