DIY Welding Butt Clamps

2024-11-14 00:20:00 +0000 UTCTop tip: for cutting with crimped mesh, rather than using your hands, recruit your body weight by sitting on the mesh. Better yet, heat it to red heat first. It's a trick you'll never forget after the first time you use it!

I've ran into situations where I could have really used them like... twice. Mentioning the mower deck though, that made me realize I could at least use them for like three different scenarios, and now that ratio of "length of time sitting on my cart to use time" is starting to look a lot more worth while. Now I just need to circle back to Inheritance Machinings video about a saw arbor, make that, buy some slitting saws, so I can make these butt clamps for free π
