March Update - "Jameson Power Stance" Edition

Been a while since we've had an update post.

Things are chugging along nicely. Been working hard to hit my word count goals every day, trying to make bigger dents in the larger commission projects. Picking up better writing habits, improving output efficiency.

No monthly list again, but old favorites and newer projects will both be getting updates through March! I think many of you will be pleased. Expect artwork posts as well!

As for sponsored projects...

Up for sponsorship + word count pools

Anyone interested in sponsoring these projects and adding to their word count pools can send me a private message!

Thank you all so much for reading and supporting my work! Your patronage really means a lot to me! Knowing that I have fans motivates me that much more to put pen to paper!

March Update - "Jameson Power Stance" Edition

Comments

The Spider-Man story was sponsored for 6k words, the first chapter came out to 3.3k, so the remaining pool is 2.7k. The way story sponsorships work is pretty similar to commissions, except the story is directed by me and multiple people can pitch in instead of one commissioner. I provided options for sponsorships mainly to give my personal ideas the chance at funding by any patrons who happened to find those ideas appealing.

So, for sake of reference, this means that your Spider-Man story is currently sponsored for 5.7k words following Chapter 1.1? Also, how exactly does word pool sponsorship work?

Franz Sanders

A story’s word count pool is the number of words the story is currently sponsored for. Though True Blue was sponsored for 4k words and Spider-Man for another 3k since this update post. And the opening chapter for Spider-Man brought the pool down to 2.7k.

What is meant by the phrase “word count pools,” if you don’t mind me asking?

Franz Sanders

Patreon has moved onto something called subscription billing, which means you get charged the day you join and then a month later on the same date. So if you subbed on March 1st, you'd get charged again on April 1st, and so on. If you wanted to move to a higher tier, then you'd only be charged for the difference in pricing between tiers - but the billing date will remain the same. Thank you for showing interest in supporting my work!

Hey, glad you've been enjoying my stories. Hope you like the Spider-Man project when it comes out. And thanks for the heads up about Patreon.

ryswell

If I wanted to subscribe for a higher tier on your Patreon, what day would I get charged? Sorry if this is rude, I just want to make sure I don’t charge myself unnecessarily.

Spider-Man project...Interesting..

Really enjoy your work mate. You might want to turn peter parker into a college student though. Apparently patreon has been cracking down really hard on people lately about age of characters.
