Didn't see this reply. No worries, friend.

It's fine, I could understand that my comment would be annoying considering how much work and time went into the image.

It’s definitely just the lighting. The human race is capable of varying skin tones even across the same ethnicity. Jill Valentine is also pretty fair-skinned to begin with, being mixed French-Japanese. And I never imagined Dalton being too pale, but rather a bit tanned. It fits with the sense of ruggedness I had going for him. I’m glad you like the image anyway - and my apologies if my original response came off as rude.

Maybe I'm just seeing things, but it seems like his skin is noticeably darker than Jill's? Like look at his arm compared to hers. Again, it might just be the way it's lit or a shadow or maybe it's the monitor I'm using. Anyways, it's a good image.

Dalton is indeed blond and Caucasian. So is the male model used in this render, which was selected personally by me. Vega and I did have a hard time finding a proper blond model however, hence the buzz cut we see in the final image. I just don’t really see how Dalton could be mistaken for black here.

...Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Dalton described as blonde? Maybe it's just the lighting but this guy seems... black?
