Thanks for your continued support during the COVID-19 pandemic

Hi supporters,

I just wanted to write a short note to thank you for supporting my work during this current coronavirus pandemic.

So far, I haven't had a single Patreon supporter cancel their pledge since the WHO declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic on 11 March. That is a testament to the value you see in my work. As with other artists and charities who rely on support from donors, thank you for holding the course. I know that other artists have seen their income opportunities dry up, so I realise that I am in a fortunate position for the moment.

I also recognise that all Patreon payments are in the single currency of US Dollars, and recent currency fluctuations might have changed the amount that certain donors are paying per month. Thanks for sticking with me throughout these movements.

Income from my Patreon supporters is my single largest income source, so I really appreciate you being the financial bedrock that helps support all other aspects of my practice.
My day-to-day routine
I am personally fit and healthy, and am cycling to my Gorman Arts Centre studio to work on artwork every weekday. The arts centre has done an excellent job of adjusting to a best-practice workplace during this event, with hand sanitiser in convenient locations, and a staff member who wipes all door handles with alcohol disinfectant twice-daily. I am following the advised 'social distancing' habits with my general movements.

The attached illustrations
Below are examples of the artwork I've been working on. 3x double-pages of comics artwork from the upcoming Notel comic that I drew between Monday and Wednesday this week.

To keep you guessing about how this fits into the comic's narrative, I've removed the captions from the artwork.

As much as I am dreaming of future comics that I'd love to draw, I see the value of seeing projects through to their end. So I will focus on completing the ~25 remaining pages of Notel before changing tack.

Thanks again for sticking with me, and all the best to you and yours.
