So the Zoro scene I kinda chalked up to anime exaggeration (kinda like how when One Piece started we thought that Shanks just was so badass he scared away that creature), since in my mind I didn't believe him to have Conqueror's Haki so it wasn't even a thought to me. I'm curious about what it means going forward, but I'll just watch and find out!

2025-08-27 17:37:01 +0000 UTCI don't think you're that nitpicky, I have the exact same opinions about the low episodes that are mixed with the peak ones. There's just some directing choices and pacing issues that I consider some of the worst in the entire series. But that's the price for having peak episodes once in a while. You didn't seem surprised Zoro apparently knocked those grunts out with his presence. The disclaimer I want to make is that scene is anime-only. This is a taboo discussion depending on one's definition of spoiler but it was meant as a reveal on Toei's part.
