2025-09-10 16:43:26 +0000 UTC--Raizo's Scroll-Scroll technique is actually a Devil Fruit that feels like a last minute detail but in canon needed to be saved to make a surprise impact. Ironically if we knew Raizo ate a Devil Fruit from the start, he would have been a bigger candidate for the traitor after seeing the clue that Orochi give someone one in a flashback. --Due to the anime catching up as it always has and the padding getting worse, this arc is where Toei made the decision to outright stop making original filler episodes/arcs (except for Film: Red) and instead skip one week every few months or so, in which they air a Full Recap- "Special Episode" -segment narrated by chibi characters such as Bartolomeo and Otama. You may or may not have noticed you reached the first of these before 1005, but as they don't take up an episode number they don't increase the overall filler ratio and they are 100% skippable for reactors. They instead are all labeled "E-SP" and they still do them after the 6 month hiatus because Oda is making fewer chapters this year than ever.
