Intermission 2 Side 1 Commands (February 23rd - March 25th) + General Update

Hey, how's it going? It's me again.

This post is going to be made available for all patrons, as it doesn't contain any actual sketches or important notes I feel would only be worth it for $3.22+ only. Also, given the current state of the world in regards to COVID-19, I think it's for the best to give the people supporting creators like us some transparency about how things are going.

VE's 9th anniversary (and SBB's 1st) has come and gone without too much fanfare, It was a very small year by our standards, one that I doubt we'll be able to afford come next year. The cover page was updated, the Discord had our usual movie night and the fan made VE appreciation week was started, but that was about all.

We had initially intended for the Dead Shufflers album to come out, but many members of the music team have had various issues in getting their tracks in that soon. We're looking to release it in April, about at the end of Side 1's run. We also wanted to get out some new merchandise, including an SBB poster, but we're going to be saving that for later as well.

Speaking of SBB, Vol. 9 is in active development. One route has been fully written and has a majority of its assets created, the other is give or take halfway written and doesn't have many assets created yet. Music is just about done on both.

Our plan for after Side 1 is to pretty much immediately get started on Side 2, which will be returning us to more detailed panels and dialogue, along with our 1-2 times a week update schedule. Both sides will be give or take ~250 pages. I'm hoping to finish Side 2 somewhere around mid-Summer and then finally getting back to what the people have been clamoring for: the main 12 in Act 3 Act 1.

The Static will also be returning within the next couple days of this post going up hopefully. If you're at $12+ patron or you have the funding to expend on raising your donation for it, I hope you enjoy!

Anyways! Now for the fun stuff. This link will take you guys to a Google Doc that contains a majority of the commands sent to us for I2S1.

I did the tedious job of removing a lot of the more undesirable commands (slurs, insults, generally nasty words, weird shit, numbers, etc), but be warned there is a lot of useless garbage in these. Even making it more of a microcosm of what we normally get is still an ocean of suggestibility and people not knowing how the input box works.

That's all for our lackluster March Madness event. See you next year for the big 1-0, where we can all have a good laugh about how we've really spent a decade of our lives on this!
