AAaaaarrrghhh!  I had this whole essay typed out but I messed up and ended up deleting the post and not getting it back.  Fool I am!!

So yeah, instead of trying to prove that one can think upon deep, deep philosophical stuff (actually I think I was just blabbing about anatomy and perception vs reality.  See if you can guess why) I'll just go with the caveman stance and say:

Look.  Woman.  Bewbs...  Mmmm... gud.

Lucky for you, the email Patrons received still exists! "Blegh. Only now after two weeks am I feeling much better. That damn cough and stuffy nose just would not get with the program! Anyway it's put me behind with drawing, but surprise! I have an image from last year that I apparently never ended up showing! The biggest reason for that is... The right hand. It just does NOT look right in relation to the arm. The thing is, when I was drawing it, and even when I was coloring it the hand looked decent. Not perfect, but it looked like it worked. Then somewhere along the line it just started to look off. I suspect it's because of how I colored the arm. However this does bring up what has been an interesting topic to me over the years. While doing this I looked at dozens of references just to see if I could get the hand and arm to look right. And I noticed that in angles & positions similar to this... The hand and arm always look kind of weird. It's just that are minds know we're looking at a human arm so they accept it as such. Translate that into an image, and the mind starts to reject it. But I see this with photos too. Someone will say that a certain position of a body or limb just doesn't work. But when you have someone in that pose, and mix in the angle of the shot, and the lighting/shadowing... it actually is quite possible. This is actually why I like using references in images. Because often times to us, in our minds eye things DON'T seem like they should work. But in reality such things are possible, if perhaps uncommon. See! Doing kinky drawings doesn't mean one has to be a simpleton. Think about some deep, deep, deep stuff while drawing bound bewbies..."
