Couldn't decide what I wanted the finished image to be. First I was just going to do it as a pencil drawing. Then I figured I'd give it some inking. Then I felt pressured to color it. But I didn't want to color it!
I like doing monochrome images. I like seeing monochrome images. But sometimes you feel like you have to produce them in color. And I know, people SAY they don't care. But trust me, they do...
