Ball of Distress

This is from 2016, which was a light year for my drawing wise. Although some of my favorites are from that year.
I think this was my first real drawing of a ball tie. It's a position that I just never seemed to get it into my head to draw. Silly ol' me! But the big standout for this image for me is the hair! I usually end up doing longer hair because you can manipulate it more to really make a gag look tighter or a damsel more distressed. But I was determined to do short hair this time and I like it.
And whomever tied her probably did too. One of those things that often doesn't get conveyed in such images, but you pick up on right away in reality, is that hair gets in the way! I mean you can work around it, sure. But when I first tied someone who kept her hair short, it was just noticeably easier.
So this one is for all the women out there who keep it short :)
