The scenes have been posed, the script has been written, and now all voice acting has been recorded, paid for, and added into SFM. Everything is in place for animation to begin. This is a milestone in the movie's production, and I want to use it to give a brief overview of everything done so far.
I've broken down the movie making process and estimated the amount of work that goes into each part. While animation is the single greatest aspect of movie production, I don't want to understate how much work has gone into the movie so far. All the effort setting up the scenes, the characters, and the audio has been quite a task. This is the foundation for all the animation to come.
As it is planned now, the movie is about 25 minutes long. That's about a minute and a half per scene. It's possible for that to end up longer or shorter once it is finally animated, but I think it's safe to say it will hit 20 minutes. This is easily double what I had anticipated from the script. It's such a massive amount of work I don't want to make any promises about release dates or even release windows. I can probably estimate the pace once a few scenes are fully animated. Of course, additional patron support can help speed things up too.
