February Update Week 4
Added 2019-02-23 01:52:16 +0000 UTCI've continued with the scene build, and I'm nearly finished with the main level. I fixed the areas near the doors, added a floor to the higher level, and surrounded the walls with spotlights.
I've also fixed up the area near Aria's couch.
Ground level view of the place. Overall, it more or less captures the shape of After-Life. I just need to add in the railings to the higher level and add in some furniture. I also haven't done any lighting yet, and that will be key to the atmosphere.
This has also given me some ideas for the VIP section of After-Life. I've thought about it being structured like the main level but a higher floor in the building. I don't think such an open area would work well for the movie though. My other thought is to have it structured more like the actual VIP area of After-Life as shown in Samara's loyalty mission.
I like the idea of the VIP room being cramped. I want to show off details more than open spaces. I can take the circular structure of the walkway and build rooms around it. I think this can serve as loose inspiration for the movie's VIP section. The naughtier VIP section.
Lastly, I'm still working on a load of poster commissions. Since it's taking a while, I want to give you a tease of them.
Early drafts that have been approved. This isn't even half of the posters I've worked on this month.
