The Promotion Update 6
Added 2019-12-21 22:47:26 +0000 UTCAnother sizable update for the movie this week. It was rather difficult, but scene 2 is more or less complete. Despite being only slightly longer (about 7 seconds longer), it took almost twice as long to finish as scene 1. This puts a release before the end of the year rather unlikely, especially if the rest of the scenes take that long. I think I can get most of it done, but it's most likely going to take a few days extra. I'm tempted to give a release date for a week or two into January to relieve some pressure while making sure that's more than enough time to finish. That said, it's always been my personal goal to finish it for this year, so it's still a disappointment to me.
On the flip side, I managed to create the entire 10 second intro in just a little over a day. In total, that's about 59 seconds done from the intro, scene 1, and scene 2. Since the movie's extension, there's still about another 100 seconds to go. That seems to be the biggest reason why this is going to take longer. I'll see what I can do, but Christmas is going to slow things down even more.
